The Motor Coble Premier

MAY 5TH. - SCARBOROUGH, YORKSHIRE. At daybreak the motor coble Premier went out to attend to her crab pots.

As the wind and sea were rising the life-boat crew assembled. By early afternoon a strong north-easterly wind was blowing and the sea was heavy. It was decided to launch the motor life-boat Herbert Joy II, and she left at 1.40. She found the Premier two miles north-east of Castle Hill, handed life-belts to the crew and escorted her into harbour, arriving at three o’clock. - Rewards, £15 17s. 6d.
