Finisterre, of Lowestoft

OCTOBER 14TH. HELIER, JERSEY.

At 8.40 at night information was received that the motor yacht Finisterre, of Lowestoft, was among the rocks east of the harbour. There was no wind and the sea was smooth. The motor life-boat Howard D. was launched at 9.7 and found the yacht in a very dangerous position five hundred yards north-east of Demie-des-Pas Lighthouse. Her engine had broken down. The life-boat towed her to St.
