Lord Beaconsfield, of Hull

OCTOBER 17TH. - ARBROATH, ANGUS.

At 11.30 at night the coastguard reported a vessel ashore off Prail Castle, and at 11.45, in calm weather, the motor life-boat John and William Mudie was launched. She found the trawler Lord Beaconsfield, of Hull, on the rocks at Red Head. She was bound for Iceland, with a crew of seventeen. The lifeboat stood by for a time and then took off the crew and landed them at Arbroath at seven o’clock next morning. - Rewards, £17 12s..
