FEBRUARY 20TH. - GREAT YARMOUTH AND GORLESTON, NORFOLK. About 5.30 in the afternoon the coxswain received information from the coastguard that a fishing boat was flying a signal and appeared in need of help. A light north-by-west wind was blowing and the sea was smooth. The motor life-boat Louise Stephens was launched at 5.52 and found the motor fishing boat John and Sarah, of Great Yarmouth, with a crew of two. Her engine had broken down two miles south of the pier. The life-boat towed her to Gorleston, arriving at 6.45 - Rewards, £13 12s. 6d..
