NOVEMBER 22ND. - HOLYHEAD, ANGLESEY. At 1.15 in the afternoon the Holyhead coastguard reported that an R.A.F. aeroplane had crashed between the breakwater and the Skerries. A strong northwest wind was blowing, with a moderately rough sea, and hail showers. The motor lifeboat A.E.D. was launched at 1.30 and, with two small naval vessels, searched, but without success. She reported by radio telephone to the naval base, which asked her to continue the search. This she did, and about the centre of Church Bay found two dead bodies.
