it had got so much worse, with a fresh N.E. wind blowing and a breaking sea, that it wasdecided to launch the motor life-boat and at 12.2 P.M. The Cuttle put out. She remained in attendance on the boats until they reached safety, and gave one coble, the Matthew and Edward, a short tow when her engine failed.
