FEBRUARY 7TH. - PENLEE, CORNWALL.

At 9.20 A.M. the coastguard at Porthleven reported a vessel apparently indistress half a mile to the S.S.W. A W.S.W. wind was blowing, with a rough sea. The motor life-boat W. and S. was launched at 9.40 A.M., and found the Belgian motor trawler Jeannine, of Ostend, dragging her anchors. Another trawler had already got a line aboard the Jeannine and towed her to Newlyn Harbour, with the life-boat in attendance.

The life-boat returned to her station at 2.15 P.M. - Rewards, £8 9s.
