H.M. Motor Launch No.111

NOVEMBER 25TH . - THE HUMBER, YORKSHIRE. At about 8.45 A.M. a loudexplosion was heard in the direction of the Chequer Shoal Buoy. A moderate S.W. breeze was blowing, with a moderate sea. The naval authorities reported that H.M. motor launch No. 111 had been blown up by a mine and asked that the life-boat should go out with a doctor. The motor lifeboat City of Bradford II was launched at 1.30 A.M. with a military doctor aboard.

H.M. motor launch No. 108 had picked up several survivors. The life-boat put the doctor on board her and returned to her station at 11.30 A.M. - Paid permanent crew.
