Aridity (1)

OCTOBER 2lST. - SOUTHEND - ON - SEA, ESSEX. The Walton coastguard reported a message, from Light-vessel No. 89, that a vessel was ashore three and a half miles to the S.E., but the life-boat found that the vessel was the m.v. Aridity, to which she had been out two days before. The weather had been foggy for three days and the crew of the light-vessel thought that it was a new wreck.
