An R.A.F. Seaplane

J UNE 2 1 S T. - WICK, CAITHNESSbound SHIRE. Shortly after 6 P.M. the coastguard reported that an R.A.F. seaplane was on the sea one and a half miles east of Occumster, and was drifting, with her engines stopped, towards Clythness. A fresh S.S.W. breeze was blowing, with a moderate sea. The motor life-boat City of Edinburgh was launched at 6.20 P.M. and found that theLybster fishing boat Ferny had already got the aeroplane in tow. Accompanied by the life-boat, the fishing boat towed it into Wick Harbour, which was reached at 9 P.M.
