A W.S.W. wind was blowing, with a rough se The motor lifeboat Elizabeth Elson was launched at 5.45 A.M. and found four members of the crew of the motor vessel Alderney Queen, of London, which had been sunk by enemy action, in a ship’s boat three miles N.W. of St. Anns.

She took them on board, landed them at Milford Haven, and returned to her station at 11 A.M. It was thought that the remaining six members of the Alderney Queen’s crew had been picked up by another vessel.- Rewards, £11 11s. 9d..
