A Minesweeper

MARCH 25TH. - NORTH SUNDERLAND NORTHUMBERLAND. At 7.30 P.M. naval authorities at North Shields asked that the life-boat should be sent out to land an injured man from a minesweeper. The wind was light with a slight swell. At 7.42 P.M. the motor life-boat W.R.A. was launched, and found the minesweeper about five miles to the N.N.W She brought ashore the master and one of the crew, both injured. After the master had been given medical attention, the life-boat took him back to his vessel and returned to her station at 12.45 A.M. The other injured man was taken to hospital.
