NOV. 23RD. - ALDEBURGH, SUFFOLK.

A message had been received from the coastguard that a man in a life-buoy had been seen floating two miles off Shingle Street coastguard station. It was not known whether he was alive or dead. The life-boat put out, Dr. Nora Acheson going with her in case medical aid was needed. The life-boat searched for two and a half hours and found only wreckage and sailors’ hats. A letter of thanks was sent to Dr. Acheson. - Rewards, £22 14s. 6d.
