The motor life-boat Lord Southborough (Civil Service No. 1) was launched at 12.20 P.M. with the honorary secretary, Mr. P. E. W. Gellatly, on board. She found the auxiliary yacht Morn, of the Royal Air Force Yacht Club, near the North Spit Buoy, with three people on board.
