Sheerness: Cliff-fall teen returns with thanks

Four weeks after suffering spinal injuries falling 10m down a cliff on the Isle of Sheppey, 17-year-old
Logan Enfield called in to Sheerness Lifeboat Station to thank the crew who came to his rescue.
Logan, visiting from Chatham, had been taking photographs when he fell down the cliff. He managed
to call the Coastguard from the gully he landed in, part way down, and the Sheerness crew were on
scene swiftly, scaling the cliff to reach him and assist the cliff-top Sheerness Coastguard Rescue Team. Logan was winched up the cliff and then airlifted to hospital for immediate assessment. Logan is receiving ongoing treatment but says he is recovering well and is very grateful for the care and attention he received from all the teams involved in his rescue.
