Courtown Sailing Club (CSC) member Paddy Mac Namara has raised €1,760 for the RNLI. Paddy let his hair grow for a year and then had it all shaved off – branding his event a Buzzcut for the Boats. The very generous donations came from members of CSC and Tara Glen Golf and Country Club. And sponsors were asked to choose how close a haircut Paddy received – with €10 donations casting a vote for the shortest, and €5 and €2 donations signifying a vote for longer cuts. The overwhelming winner was a number-2 buzzcut.
