A DRAM TO REMEMBER

The Scapa Distillery has released 249 bottles of a Battle of Jutland centenary whisky, to remember those lost in the First World War’s largest naval battle. The Scapa Jutland whisky has matured for 16 years, with 11 of the bottles named after ships from the battle. Her Majesty The Queen will receive the HMS Collingwood bottle. While this special single cask will mark the efforts of those who made the ultimate sacrifice, it will also help to save lives in the future. The expected £40,000 profit will fund training at all three Orkney lifeboat stations: Kirkwall, Longhope and Stromness. Connoisseurs and supporters alike can buy a £200 bottle exclusively from the Scapa Distillery Visitor Centre.
