INJURED TEEN REACHES SAFETY

TENBY | 9 APRIL
Tenby all-weather lifeboat crew raced to the aid of a 14-year-old girl, who had fallen on rocks at Barafundle Beach. Suffering suspected back and neck injuries, including a broken collarbone, the teen was carefully placed on a stretcher by RNLI crew working with the local cliff rescue team and paramedics. Lifeboat volunteers then took her around the headland to Stackpole Quay and a waiting ambulance.
