Energetic £300K

Scottish and Southern Energy has committed to donating £100,000 a year to the RNLI for the next 3 years.

The money will be spent on crew training at Aldeburgh, Harwich, Lowestoft and Southwold lifeboat stations. Scottish and Southern Energy has a particular interest in Suffolk coastal life, as it is involved in the construction of an offshore windfarm on the Gabbard and Galloper sandbanks. Julian Reeves, the company’s Head of Corporate Relations, says: ‘Supporting the RNLI's Train one, save many campaign allows us to give something back to the communities that use the waters where we are working.’
