In the Summer issue of the Lifeboat, in a news article on page 14 entitled ‘RWCs on station’, we mistakenly stated that Bude was in Devon.

Bude is actually in Cornwall. On page 13 we inadvertently merged two distinct supporters of the RNLI: the Foresters and the Friendly Foresters. And on page 34, in explaining the frequency of tides, we said that the Moon orbits the Earth in slightly more than 24 hours. In fact the Earth rotates once approximately every 24 hours and the Moon orbits the Earth approximately every 28 days.
