RNLI open days give supporters the chance to get up close and personal with state-ofthe- art lifeboats and the volunteers who crew them.

The charity’s Headquarters and Lifeboat College in Poole open their doors to the public on 5–6 September this year. As well as the usual stands, demonstrations and handson experiences, there will be an opportunity to see the RNLI memorial, dedicated to those who have lost their lives at sea while trying to save others.
