Dinghy in distress The volunteers at Burnham-on-Sea lifeboat station in Somerset were out on exercise on 19 February 2006 when a call came to assist dinghy sailor Tanya Tucker. The boom clip to her mast had broken, causing repeated capsizing. Finally, after being under water for some seconds,Tanya was unable to right the 5m dinghy and became vulnerable to the pull of the receding tide.
