Andrew Freemantle MBE, chief executive of the RNLI, and Michael Viasto, operations director, teamed up to row up the River Thames to raise money for the RNLI.

The pair were part of a two-day event organised byGoodenough College London Rowing Club with rowers covering 110 miles from Oxford to Putney.

The two men rowed the five-mile leg from Maidenhead to Eton on 26 May to help foster good relations between Thames rowers and the RNLI and to raise awareness of the RNLI's Thames lifeboat service..
