Weymouth lifeboat craw were conducting a man overboard exercise on Sunday 19 May 2002 when an unexpected guest came along to land a helping flipper.

Randy the dolphin is a popular local celebrity in the area and appeared quite concerned about the man in the water. He kapt swimming up and nudging the crew member towards the lifeboat. Perhaps the RNLI should think of signing him up as an honorary crew member.
