When Glenda Jackson CBE, Parliamentary Under Secretary for State for Transport, visited RNLI HQ in August, Director Brian Miles presented her with a photograph of her grandfather, known as 'Father' Jackson - taken when he was a member of Hoylake lifeboat crew in the early 1900s.
