The delightful setting of Morton and Port Eynon. on the South Wales coast, serves to illustrate one of the benefits of the station's D class lifeboat - the ease with which it can be manoeuvred over that vast expanse of sand visible at low water! The grey roof of the boathouse (pictured below) can be seen at the end of the path leaving the top left hand corner of the car park which is just visible in the bottom right of the photograph.
