St.Ives, Cornwall - South Division

(left) St Ives harbour nestles in shelter of St Ives Head, known locally as The Island', protected from westerly winds but open through from the north to the The lifeboat station (right) is at base of the small pier on the shoreward side of the harbour the overall view and houses the Mersey, tractor and carriage and the C class lifeboat.

Despite appearances the lifeboat house is quite new, being completed in 1994 with granite facing to the walls and a slate roof to match existing buildings.
