For the last 12 years visitors to The Folly Inn on the banks of the River Medina on the Isle of Wight have been accosted by charming lady rattling her lifeboat collecting box! Twice a day, during flag week, Anne Burdett makes the ten minute walk to the pub cheerfully collecting from table table. This year she collected a staggering £600 for East Cowes branch.
