A rescue party waits to take an injured man from aboard the Teignmouth lifeboat to hospital. The man had fallen down cliffs on 18 March at Ansley's Cove in Torquay and suffered a broken ankle. He was carried a further 30ft to the base of the cliffs where crewmen aboard the Atlantic 21 lifeboat Frank and Dorothy used an emergency paddle and straps to form a temporary splint before taking him to the ambulance at Redgate Beach.
