MARCH 1991 Norman Clarke, honorary life governor of the Institution. Mr Clarke became a flag day organiser in"Ne wport, Gwent in 1946 and held various positions with the Harwich branch, Southampton branch and ultimately as treasurer of Colchester District branch. He was appointed honorary information officer in 1974.
