Sprinting in to the 'finish line' at Dover Edward Jones cheques in with his contribution to the RNLI's funds.

Edward had met the crew of the Dover lifeboat while on holiday in the area, and was so impressed by his brave new friends that he decided to help with their fund raising.

Having raised £750 by taking part in the New York marathon he is pictured bounding in to hand over the cheque to Tony Hawkins, coxswain of Dover lifeboat - not having run all the way from New York we hasten to add! (Photo Folkestone Herald/Citizen).
