A Kenny Ball Jazz Concert organised by Ilkley branch in aid of the Grace Darling Appeal was a sell-out, and raised almost £3,000 in conjunction with a Yorkshire Post appeal linked to the event. Although Kenny Ball has played at other venues in Yorkshire, this was his first appearance in Ilkley.
