Graceful Performance
The school choir and other pupils who were following an Expressive and Performing Arts Course at the Duchess's High School in Alnwick performed 'The Legend of Grace Darling' last year in aid of the Grace Darling Appeal.
Her Grace the Duchess of Northumberland was present, together with crew members of North Sunderland lifeboat station and Calum MacPherson, one of the keepers of the Longstone Lighthouse.
A grand draw was held and a cheque for £ 1,017.52 was presented by the pupils to Mr Derek Calderwood, vice chairman of the Appeal and honorary curator of the Grace Darling Museum.
