Drink and be... generous! Each year customers of 'The Olde Coffee House' and the 'Star and Garter' public houses in London's Soho have organised 'Drunk-Aid', a gentle stroll around 20 pubs in the area in the space of four hours.

In 1988, motivated by Mr Michael Hills (pictured above) who has been emptying RNLI collecting boxes in Soho for the last 12 years, these cheerful fund raisers agreed to donate the proceeds to the lifeboat service. An enjoyable evening was had by all, and more than £3,000 was raised..
