The Reading branch of the British Sub Aqua Club visit Swanage at least once a month all the year round, and this year they decided to give the station half the sponsorship money raised from a threemile swim in the Thames.

Thirty five members of the club raised £2,000, divided equally between the RNLI and the Diving Diseases Research Centre.
