Hands up! The Western Pioneers Show Team, a group of disabled and able-bodied people from West Wickhurn, 'held up' customers in aid of the RNLl. During a countrywide promotion each Texaco garage adopted a local charitv for three davs. Keith Whiteing, manager of Addiscombe Road garage, chose to collect for the Crovdon branch and the Western Pioneers lent a hand. The event was so successful that Mr Whiteing collected for an extra day, resulting in a donation of £571.
