Paddling hard: Boto-X 87 organised by Kennel & Avon Canal Trust raised £7,500 for the RNLI over two davs during the summer. With the support of Devizes and Chippenham branches 120 teams entered the race in inflatable dinghies which took place over five pounds at Devizes flight of locks. The money was raised from sponsorship, sales of souvenirs and Volvo car raffle tickets and will go towards an inshore lifeboat. The Devizes team is shown in the picture..
