More than 50 hardy walkers set off on a 20 mile trek from Whitstable harbour to boost funds for the planned extension to the boathouse. Chairman of the fund raising committee, Mrs Linda Livingstone, organised the sponsored walk to Faversham Guildhall and back, which added £1,600 to the kitty.
