Many a slip: Members of the Kent Messenger Social Club heard to utter an oath had to pay for their slips of the tongue. A swear box behind the bar and raffles raised £500 for East Mailing branch and chairman of the Social Club Alan Mole presented the cheque to Jean Barber, chairman of the branch, watched by steward Charlie Wilson.
