Whilst filming the TV programme Highway in Anstruther Sir Harry Secombe interviewed Coxswain Peter Murray. He was also invited to break open a gallon bottle of whisky at the Craws Nest Hotel releasing £255.88 to be put towards Anstruther Lifeboat Appeal.
