Sea food: members of Largs Junior Chamber of Commerce appear remarkably unconcerned by what is clearly a severe case of rising damp during a recent dinner staged on the slipway of the lifeboat station. This chilling experience, devised presumably for those hotfoot from the office and dubbed the Titanic Dinner for obvious reasons, produced a very useful sinking fund of £100 for the local lifeboat.
