A scale model of the Barra Island Solent class lifeboat, Hugh William Viscount Gough, was a great attraction, especially for children, when on display in the Leeds Merrion shopping centre.

The model, made by Brian Hobson (second left) was part of an exhibition staged at the centre by Leeds Shoreline club. With souvenir sales the one-day exhibition raised £447.
