Dogged determination shows on the face of Elsa the Great Dane. She (along with her owner Rex Bolton, honorary treasurer of Telford South branch,), is on her way to completing the 12 kilometre Telford charity trek and raising £57 in sponsorship for the RNLI.

The trek is an annual event organised by the Rotary Club of Ironbridge and Telford Athletic Club and entrants are invited to take part on behalf of the charity of their choice.

Other walkers for the RNLI were Mrs Ruth Worsley, branch honorary secretary, Mrs Linda Chapman, chairman, Brian Jackson, his wife Anne and Gilbert Jarvis. Altogether they brought in £186.25.
