Lossiemouth Guild
Artist John Todd (I) admires some of the works on show at the exhibition he mounted for three days in October at the Lesser Town Hall, Lossiemouth. With him is another exhibitor, Mr McPherson who, along with all the other artists, agreed to pay 15 per cent commission to the RNLI on every painting sold.
Tommy Summers, mechanic of Fraserburgh lifeboat and himself an artist, opened the show at a cheese and wine preview. One painting of a lifeboat, donated by the artist, raised £92 in a raffle and a grand total of £550 was made for Lossiemouth guild over the three days. photograph by courtesy of Studio Tyrrell.
