Survey ship Geotek Alpha ablaze off the west coast of Scotland last July. Barra Island's 48ft 6in Solent class lifeboat, Hugh William Viscount Gough, can be seen with 15 of the casualty's crew aboard. Eventually the lifeboat had to take off the remainder of Geotek Alpha's crew as the fire spread. Also standing by is the fishing vessel Daisy Christiana.
