This was just one of the ways that pupils from Kings of Wessex School, Cheddar, succeeded in raising £850 for the RNLI. A long list of fund-raising methods included civvies day (payment not to wear uniform), a sponsored sleep on the Mendips, welly throwing, guessing how many sweets in a jar, a sponsored trampoline by Julia Fisher which raised £100, a sixth form concert and many other exploits.
