Dungeness open day, on Sunday July 29, included the blessing of the 37ft 6in Rather lifeboat Alice Upjohn by the Right Reverend Peter Chidgey of Lydd. More than 2,000 people visited the station during the day and just over £2,000 was raised for the branch funds..
