One of the 42 entrants in the annual Outrageous Raft Race organised by Harrison and Sons sports and social club, the High Wycombe branch of the British Sub-Aqua Club and Marlow Canoe Club. The course was a half-mile stretch of the Thames at Marlow and, as can be imagined, the scene was chaotic from start to finish. This 779 bus was particularly difficult to steer as it preferred to go round in circles.
