Sir Geoffrey and Lady Howe, and of course Budget, were among the visitors at Caterham and District branch's first dog show, held at Warlingham School Green last August Bank Holiday. Wood, branch honorary secretary. Entered for the show were 192 dogs and the event raised £226.40 for the lifeboats. Later in the summer the branch raised more than £600 with its annual supper, for which the tickets are usually all sold out before they are printed!.
