In brilliant sunshine, Dunbar lifeboat fete, held at the harbour on Saturday July 24, raised more than £6,700—a marvellous result exceeding the 1981 total by about £1,000. The Lifeboat Queen, Margaret-Ann Brunton, accompanied by Lord Hunter, president of the branch, was taken out in the lifeboat to watch an air sea rescue display in Dunbar Bay. A really happy day.
